Welcome to Changlong Chinese Institute

 Located in NW downtown portland, Oregon, Changlong Chinese Institute is a brand new Chinese Language and Culture education center.

Our mission is to teach students not only Chinese language but also the Chinese art and culture through classroom instructions, cultural events, and interactive games. We want to  make learning Chinese  fun and enjoyable for you.

To accomplish the above mission we rely on experienced teachers, the cooperation and involvement of parents and active participation of students. 

Our instruction offering Chinese classes to all levels of students includes kids and adults.  Classes are structured mainly based on the age of the child or the language skills of the adult. For the beginners , the class will mainly focus on conversion and students can learn to speak Chinese in a very relaxed and entertaining  atmosphere. 

In addition to the language classes, we alsol offer a variety of artistic and cultural classes such as calligraphy, painting, Chinese folk dancing, singing and WuShu (Chinese Kungfu).
